# About ToastFort

ToastFort is a study companion for the Fortinet NSE 4 / FCP — FortiGate 7.6
administrator exam. It's the old FortiGate Study Buddy, rebuilt on
study-engine — the shared apparatus behind
ToastScripture,
ToastWen, and
ToastRFC.

- The five exam domains, each read domain-by-domain with the material colour-coded:
traps (what exhibits hide), memorise (values you just have to know),
defaults, and new in 7.6.
- Modes the exam tests — flow vs. proxy inspection, NGFW profile vs. policy,
central vs. policy NAT, certificate vs. deep SSL inspection, FSSO agent vs.
agentless, HA election with and without override. Each shown as a side-by-side
comparison, because that's how the questions are written.
- 120+ flashcards, migrated from the Anki set, one scroll-drillable page per
deck (plus an "everything" deck).
- Study plans — a six-week schedule weighted to the blueprint, and a
"where NOC work leaves gaps" focus list.

## What changed from the old Study Buddy

Same notes and cards, now with: cross-linked concept pages, the mode comparisons
pulled out as their own thing, feature-dependency chips ("needs §4.1"), full-text
search, and the reader-comfort panel. The old static pages
(/fortigate-study-guide.html, /fortigate-flashcards.html) stay up.
